Anson Wong (LLB Year 2): “Our mentor Henry is very down-to-earth and kind who treats us as his younger siblings. His highly approachable personality is conducive to developing a closer friendship between us. He encouraged us to ponder on the objectives and goals of this exchange experience, which would keep us directed at why we chose to come to the UK in the first place.”
“Henry checked whether we had encountered a cultural shock during the exchange. He has shared with us some small tips in dealing with cultural shock and ways to initiate conversations with people from difference backgrounds. Understanding that we were missing Chinese food, Henry arranged for a lunch gathering at a Chinese Restaurant. We had nice food and good conversations there. Thanks Henry for the treat!” Howard Chan (BSocSc Year 3)
Nelson Fung (BSc Year 2): “ Henry shared with us his experiences of studying and working in London, and useful information about what to do and tips on living in the UK. All this information was very useful and inspired me a lot for my future study plan. I am very glad to have had Henry as my mentor.”
