“Mr Yung is a successful person in the field of insurance. I was invited to join the Chinese New Year dinner along with his other mentees, and he shared a lot about his experiences of how he worked to achieve the goals. I think he is an excellent role model for us, from his friendly personality to his positive attitude in his work. I was also grateful to have the opportunity to get to know his other mentees from different institutions, which broadened my social network across various fields.
Mr Yung is very nice and friendly towards his mentees. He often invites us to join events held by his company, and he would take time to chat with us so that he could get to know us better. He was also willing to share stories about himself and his previous mentees, so we as university students could get insights of how to work out our career path in the future.” Mentee Gabriel Leung (first left, sitting) and mentor Samuel Yung (3rd right, standing) in the photo 1.
Photo 1: Joining the Chinese New Year dinner organised by Mr Yung’s company. Since so many of us joined the dinner, there was a table just for Mr Yung’s mentees, which gave us a great chance to meet and chat with each other. We were also lucky to get red packets from the lucky draw.
Photo 2: Watching the Great Circus of Europe at the fun fair sponsored by Mr Yung’s company. Mr Yung generously offered us free tickets to watch the circus. We also went for tea after the show to get to know each other better.
