Life in a foreign country

 

“Through the meeting with my mentor Dr Steven Lai and his wife, I could learn about his life in Perth, especially as a surgeon. He and his family shared a lot of interesting facts and their personal experiences about Western Australia. He also gave me advice on how to be a good doctor in Hong Kong and in foreign countries. His advice was very useful for me, as I have sometimes also considered Western Australia as a destination that I might want to settle in and live in. It was a nice opportunity for me to learn about the experience of being a doctor, an immigrant, a father and a grandfather from my mentor.”
