“Steven kindly provided very useful information about studying and living in Norway before my departure from Hong Kong. We met a few times during my exchange studies and we talked a lot on our experience in Norway and our future plans. These conversations and interactions provided me with a lot of insights into and advice on my future plans and life goals. He is very helpful and when I came across certain problems after our meetings, he sent me messages with useful suggestions. I was also delighted to be connected with HKU alumna Ms Kit-Fai Næss, who has been living in Norway for more than 40 years. We learnt a lot from both Steven and Ms Næss.” Jonathan Ho (BA Year 3)

“Steven is really a nice person. I could feel his passion for helping others and his desire to help me explore Norway and better adapt to the new culture. Norway was a completely new environment that I had little knowledge of before I went there. Steven shared useful information with me and news about upcoming events for me to experience. He also took me to a design fair to show me the latest Nordic designs and styles.
Before I left Norway, Steven took me to a newly established canteen, which is owned by Steven’s husband and was not yet fully open to the public. It was really a pleasure to be one of the first few customers and have afternoon tea with them. On that cold afternoon, we chatted and drank together. They are both very friendly and warm. These are all my treasured memories and wonderful moments from my exchange in Norway.” Cindy Cheng (Second photo, BBA[Acc&Fin] Year 3)
