[Vienna] Saying good-eye, in a HK way

Mentee Joanna (BEcon&Fin 2018), who is currently doing her Master of Science in International Management in Vienna, Austria, will go to St Gallen in Switzerland on exchange. Before her temporary sojourn in Switzerland, she took time to have a chat with her long-time HKU mentor Erich, and they chose to have Hong Kong-style dim sum together (Photo 1).

Joanna was introduced to Erich when she was still an undergraduate student at HKU back in 2016 and had gone on a one-year exchange to Austria. Since then, the mentor and mentee have stayed in touch, no matter whether Joanna was studying in Hong Kong or Austria. “Erich is the best mentor I ever had. He has helped me understand Austria much deeper, and he also took me to have some fun during festivals, such as Christmas, when I am away from home. He is such a nice and awesome mentor.”
