“I find talking to my mentor Arthur is really interesting. Through our conversations, I can learn a lot. We have talked about the legal profession, our interests and different life values. I recall that at a dinner with my mentor, I shared with him my career plan and he offered me several suggestions. Talking to him is inspiring as I have a better understanding of how the workplace is like. Another aspect I have learnt from my mentor is from the attitude he has. “Through Arthur, I have been able to learn more about the China Care Fund, a charitable organisation my mentor is Chairman of, and how it works to help support underprivileged high school students on the Mainland. I joined my mentor and his wife on a 3-day service trip to the Mainland to visit high schools and, after that trip, I wanted to be more involved and help the high school students there myself. Currently, my mentor and I are planning a project to help the students gain broader perspectives about the world beyond their high school curriculum.” Helen Wong, MBBS Year 2
