Patrick Ngai (BBA) “Throughout my mentorship with Helen, I have gained valuable perspectives on life in Canada, as well as various aspects of personal growth and travelling. Their encouragement and guidance have been truly inspiring, reinforcing my passion for continuous learning and empowering me to take actionable steps toward achieving my goals.
Helen possesses many positive attributes, including her approachability and encouragement. She is an excellent listener who offers thoughtful advice tailored to my thoughts, and her genuine interest in my growth is truly inspiring. Her ability to share personal experiences and insights fosters a supportive and motivating environment for intellectual conversation.
We had our first dinner gathering at a Chinese restaurant in Toronto with a lively atmosphere, joined by my mentor Mrs Helen Woo and her husband Prof. Woo. I was delighted to invite Rae Chiu, a good friend from the BSocSc (Govt&Laws) & LLB programme, who is also on academic exchange.“
